Almost three hours of classic Christmas carols performed with both choirs and orchestras, Naxos Carol Collection is an epic and spectacular collection of holiday favorites covering everything from "Away in a Manger" to "We Three Kings of Orient Are." For traditional Christmas fare, you can't get much more complete.
Good arrangements, great variety, very good performances. Definitely a part of our holiday listening.

This is a wonderful collection of carols. The solo and choral voices are gorgeous and the musicianship is stellar. I'm also delighted by the variety of choirs and musical ensembles which adds a nice sense of texture to the continuity of the whole. I am spending the remaining half of this month's downloads along with a booster pack to download all of the songs, nearly three hours of heavenly music. Together with A Charlie Brown Christmas, which I downloaded earlier this month and have been playing constantly, I am set for a lovely low-key Christmas holiday. Highly recommended! After I've had a chance to listen, I'll post track suggestions for those who might not be ready to download the whole album.
