Wet Willie is from Alabama and if you ever heard one of their albums you'd know they are definitely a Southern Rock band.

What about Canned Heat?

kjc

Canned Heat is from California, George Thorogood & the Destroyers are from Delaware.LOL! But I'm sure I've heard it from the mouths of Southern rockers themselves, folks like Hank Williams Jr. and Gregg Allman (who says "all rock is southern rock") have basically nominated bands that are from elsewhere to be examples of good Southern rock. Remember the song, "Keep on Smiling" by Wet Willie? They consider that song to be "southern rock" in origin, even though the band is from Scotland!
