Alvin Lee plays songs from his "1994" album he recorded with George Harrison as well as a few old Ten Years After goodies in this well-produced, live album, recorded at the Rock House in Vienna. All in all it is a terrific recording that I'm very happy to have in my collection. This guy has always written great songs with catchy hooks and great lyrics and he showcases them well in this recording. If you like primal rock done really well then you are going to love this one. His call and response "Johnny B. Goode" is just icing on the cake. Alvin is digging what he is doing and you will to.

Rockin' like Ten Years After

Alvin Lee playing guitar live is one reason to get this album, but the songs played (Keep on Rockin', I Hear You Knockin', Hear Me Calling, Jonny B Goode, I Don't Give a Damn, and a 13+ minute Going Home) are fabulous. Vienna was a fun place to be that night! The production and recording is exceptional. Live rock at its best by one of rock's best guitar players!
