one of my fav bands

What I love about The Nadas is that I can listen to any of their albums from the past 13 years and always enjoy it. I have favorites from all their albums (track 03, 07, & 09 on this one). Fun band to see live too.

This is one of my favorite bands, although I don't know why emusic links them to Johm Mellencamp--I just don't see it. I'd say they're similar to Virginia Coalition, Strangefolk, Hello Dave, Mr. Blotto and other roots-rock oriented jam bands. The Nadas combine folk or roots-rock with that jam band style, with a bit infuluence from reggae and the Allman Brothers to get music you just can't stay still to. They're a great band to see live.
