This is one of Scratch Perry's finest moments; if a friend likes Massive Attack and Portishead, you can turn them on to this soulful, heady brew of ridiculously catchy dub.
Great album, bogus release
Wicked album, but the sound quality is crap. Get the Trojan Superape/Return of the Superape/Roast Fish triple album and hear this as it's meant to be heard!

Strictly roots - a classic
With all due respect, the previous reviewer must not be familiar with the sound of reggae genius Lee Scratch Perry. It's like complaining that Cajun food is too spicy. You don't like it? Next time order a hamburger. This is the real Black Ark, classic Scratch stuff.
way too merky
I was gonna download this but the quality of the sound is horrible! Come on Emusic... you'd think for a deluxe edition you could at least dial in the quality a bit more.
