soundtrack to atonement

the world's ransoming is a moving piece. It sounds like an instrumental passion, plaintive oboe melodies bring to mind Christ in Gethsemane, suffering for the sins of the world. I can't even describe how I felt as the music ends with what could only be the sound of hammering - nails to the cross...

Hmm, not too good

Vague, wandering music, lots of piano (volume that is), and nothing very convincing in these two works.
