Blues Party!!!
This set is like a Blues party, live and kicking performances by some lesser known hard working professionals of the Blues scene. I saw most of these folks on the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise in January 2006, and they have only gotten tighter and hotter in their playing since then! Salgado's vocal on "That Ain't It" really kills me - he sounds just like Junior Wells - diction and all... Tommy Castro is filled with soul and Blues in his singing and guitar work, Deanna Bogart is also sounding more mature here. Ronnie Baker Brooks brings a slight Hendrix twist to the Chicago Blues, and has also developed a great blues-soul voice.
