This EP is way better then the full length in my opinion. Each song is just the right mix of catchy lyrics, poppy music and break up themes-without being annoying, sappy or depressing. Each song is brought together extremely well in the last song (which is my favorite by the way) and not to mention an interesting concept.
I loved this EP. A solid effort. As a whole every track tells a little story with all the themes returning for a reprise in 'The Sounds' - a really nice way to finish it off. My only comment is that these guys will have to be careful not to let future tracks sound similar - I'm not talking about the band's style - just the structure, key and overall sound of the songs. They'll have to mix it up a little to really show off their range, which I know will be pretty cool to hear! As it stands, a great little EP, awesome vocals and instrumentation, nice variation, well worth picking up and listening to over and over. Can't wait for their next round! Jimzip :D
Ok..so i used to be totally in love with Tom DeLonge from blink 182...BUT THEY BROKE UP! so now Tom is in Angels and Airwaves...these guys sound like a pretty good comparison... :)
