the melancholy ones here really stand out
A four acoustic track EP with titles lifted from other famous songs, and a Hallelujah cover (better than the X factor version certainly and more akin to the Leonard Cohen original). Heart of Glass the other slow number and this really shines lyrically and musically. Woman In Red is a superb uptempo swing number, breaking into a lush middle eight to die for. The Wanna Be Like You song is probably the weakest here, but I imagine it goes down well live.
