My First Kiss
Did anyone get their first kiss while "Forever" (track 11) was playing in the background?

There is a lot of good memories every time I hear these songs. And a live performance is like OMD is there just singing for you; there are no really a favorite song in this album, the whole package needs to be listened to in order to get the picture of what OMD means for a lot of us.
Back in 81, this album changed me and introduced me to so many different sounds and styles of music in one place. Though this live album's track order is different from the original, and with some other things thrown in, it took me right back to those days of listening to the original on a cassette back in the day. Those were the days. Listen to this and you'll hear this band's influence on others as wide ranging as Arcade Fire, the Cure, Julian Cope, New Order, and even, I would argue, a fair amount of the 4AD aesthetic. A true classic, whose influence I believe is underestimated. I have to say the studio version is still better in my book, but this is still an exciting album and well worth the download.
Before OMD started recording syrupy pop tunes such as 'So in Love', they created some brilliant synth-based albums including Architecture and Morality. OMD recently performed Architecture and Morality(plus assorted other OMD hits) live and one of those performances is captured on this live recording. Unlike some other failed reunion attempts, the performance by OMD on this album is excellent. The songs here sound almost as good as the original studio versions. I highly recommend this to OMD fans and anyone else interested in exploring what OMD were about.
