Great Versions
My sister just had a wedding and used a handful of these songs in the ceremony. They were definitely a hit with people when they realized what they were listening to, but still remained somewhat classy cause...well...it's a string quartet.
If I ever get married...
I'm going to play most of the songs of this album. I really love the Aerosmith, the U2, and the Guns N' Roses songs best!
If someone walked down the aisle to one of these..
These are great. I would be pleasantly surprised to hear one of these songs instead of the classic wedding march.
I had always hoped
to find a collection of classic rock covers done by an orchestra. Here it is. Each track is totally faithful to the original recording and performed with precision rivaling Apocalyptica. Stairway to Heaven remains my favorite, but I can't pick out a bad song. The variety of artists offered is exceptional, spanning decades; this is a must buy.
