love the oppportunity to discover new artists. She's great downloading a few tunes. You need to create a search for nu jazz, r&b, downtempo and trip hop vocals. that would refine my searches. Amazon has that capability. Hope someone reads this

She has got to be the best young unknown female vocalist around! It's sad that no one knows who she is!

It all adds up
I have been trying to dismiss this child for over a year now. But she just won't go away. I am starting to believe she might have something more than a good marketing team. Her music does not rely on hooks and tricks to succeed like much of what passes for popular music. There is a substance to her music that hints of greater things to come. This would have been called neo soul if she had come along 5 years ago. She has some folk behind her that ought to help her keep it tight ie Larry Gold on strings and Kedar Massenburg as puppet master. Check out tracks 3, 4, 13 & 14. My personal favorite right now is Run and Hide but the others are growing on me rapidly. I hope we hear from Algebra again soon.
