The songs are beautiful and complex enough while still approachable. I don't remember how I was introduced to this album but I can say my love for it has grown over the years. The levels of sound mix perfectly into a wall of emotion.
Both albums on eMusic are great, but this one is probably easier to recommend for people unfamiliar with Owen Pallet's sound and writing. Compared to 'He Poos Clouds', the songs on this album are more self-contained, and a little bit more accessible. Try downloading tracks 2, 5, and 11 for a taste, and then get all the rest too!
