Duh.
Of course it's taken from vinyl. Pretty much anything recorded in the US prior to the end of WWII was recorded straight to disc. These might be a bit scratchier than normal, but the rarity should give 'em a bit of a pass.

emusic has a large selection of Benny Goodman albums. Get your fix from them. This album is too scratchy to be pleasing.
