Charlottesville / Philly Connection

I've seen these guys live several times, since a few of the band members are from Charlottesville, and consequently play here quite often. This album is a real treat - great writing in a fun setting. "Seeds of Jealousy" and "A Proud Salute" are my personal favorites, but the whole album is so cohesive, it's best just to put it on play and let it roll. Maritime Rock Opera at its best!

I love this album... it's homemade storytelling indie rock fun. It's got maritime stories like a Decemberists album, but a more indie pop sound. Try "Anchors of War" for a taste of the goodness. It should at least put a smile on your face!
