Not the NBC broadcast, but better

Doughnuts

Further to Kipp78's comments, this is not the NBC broadcast recording. It's a digital recording and it sounds great. It's also more complete than the television soundtrack.

sweet perfection

Kipp78

This one is a classic, originally written for a live TV presentation before the days of tape. The story is sweet and touching and the performances here are all perfection. Its not remastered or digitized so it wont have the depth of modern recordings but the music transcends time and technology. If you have never heard this Holiday Opera you have a wonderful surprise waiting for you.
