Interesting Young Voice

We need more of these young singers coming to the fore instead of those who are sounding more and more like each other each with each passing day with no thought given to style (besides having the 'Tools', Jazz demands style if you want to reach the top) development. If Red and my man Chuchito (Chucho's son and Bebo's Grandson)are backing her up she must have impressed them . We need more participation from the Professors that are still with us in discovering and helping to develop young, talented singers for our music. The wannabes must be thinned out. They can go and sing Pop or Rock and leave us alone.

I love Sacha's versitility in singing so many different languages well. Her jazz sensibility and phrasing is great and she has very nice tone and intonation.

My dream finally came true on April 9, 2009 when Sacha Boutros enchanted a packed house at the Diamond Head Bar & Grill. Ms Boutros was simply amazing as she thrilled the crowd with a ballad treatment of "What A Little Moonlight Can Do" and spun many tales of love and love lost as she sang in Portuguese, Spanish, English AND Italian. Backed by Steve Jones on bass and Jim Howard on piano, Sacha made the evening memorable and momentous. You should have been there. Sacha has promised to return to Honolulu in July; keep your eyes and ears open for the next BIG show!!
