Samples sound great. Disappointingly, what the songs establish in the first 30 seconds doesn't really go anywhere after that. There's too much repetition -- for my taste anyway -- and the whole album is like this.
The Door Of Serenity has a much more confident effort than the kinda-lame Ishati. Although Rajna still doesn't measure up to the high standard set by Dead Can Dance or Delerium, this collection comes across as a slightly muted blending of both those groups...dream soundtracks and the folk music of imaginary worlds. This album is the one to download.
