Exciting Programme

Guido Arbonelli and Paolo Gallipoli have formed the Namaste Duo to perform an exciting programme of contemporary and 20th century clarinet duos. Most pieces are acoustic duos, but some are electroacoustic works performed with electronic music on tape. The works are - Davide Summaria: Fantasia (for 2 clarinets), Giuseppe Bruni: Sulle Ali Delle Ombre (for 2 clarinets and tape), Sarah Perry: Carlo and Giacomo (for 2 clarinets), Francis Poulenc: Sonata (for 2 clarinets), Mauricio Kagel: General Bass (for 2 bass clarinets), Bruno Maderna: Serenata per un Satellite (for 2 clarinets), Andrea Camporese: Simbiosi (for 2 clarinets and tape), Federico Badaloni: Disparondo' (for 2 clarinets), Astor Piazzolla: Libertango (for 2 clarinets) (arranged by Marino Baratello), and Carey Nutman: Clarinet Vision (for clarinet and tape). Most pieces are fun/accessible/very melodic.
