Pygmalion, an unknown vocal ensemble (at least to me), have made an album that has thrilled me more than any other in 2008 and for that I will have to crown it the “Discovery Album of 2008”. After enjoying the sublime beauty of the “low calorie” the best of the one-voice-per-part performances, arrive this startling surprise – a magnificent choir that perform a n expressive, tense and swift Bach without losing even one shade of the aesthetic beauty of these two small Mass. It’s hard not to join in with the beat… a real Triumph!
