paulocooke

Ahhh, I got this in 1993 and it became one of those albums that became a soundtrack to my life for a good few years. I was burgled a few years back and what a thrill to find this on here! Ahhh, a flood of good music and amazing memories flood back and now I have the soundtrack to my future life.

TROY

Sunscreem is a band I consider to be hot. I like this dancy house groov and most of all I like this sexy sexy girl way of singing. So finding here a new album is one of those things that mignt make my day. And they do!

Let the sky fall down......

The release date given here is wrong, this album, with exactly the same tracks was released in the UK in 1993, it was on Columbia here originally. It still sounds good to my ears, it was a classic of it's type, dance/techno, when it was released, I definitely don't think they surpassed it with their later albums. Numerous classic dance singles came off of the album, in multiple mixes, if you are/were into dance music in the 90's and don't recall the band, I bet you'll remember the sounds, many copied their sound but Sunscreem at their peak were excellent. Rave on.

O3 displays a techno act with something of a heart and focus (plus a real drummer from time to time). While the energy level does get pumped from time to time, the accent is more on solid song design and upfront female vocals that do more than provide just another element of the mixes, putting this firmly into the Deee-Lite camp. Highlights are the singles “Love U More,” “Perfect Motion” and a Marianne Faithfull cover of “Broken English.” – Steven McDonald
