Such a mixture
I been listening and seeing vessels for 2 years, and this album is a masterpiece. It may fall into the post rock label, but they bring something new to the table, quirky complex drums layers of guitar, and driving basslines, with the odd dash of dreamy vocals. The great changes of rhythms and tempo keeps you guessing, even after many listens. If you like 65 days of static, Mogwai, Explosions in the sky, you will love this.

On first few listens, I thought this was going to be a Math Rock/Battles type affair, but White Fields goes way beyond. Great melodies, superb rhythms, great instrumentation...and with 63 minutes of music crammed into just 10 meaty tracks, you just can't go wrong.
