That's a hell of a wig
Dude wore a wig at Union Hall in Brooklyn. It was a normal hairstyle wig, which is what was disturbing. Just black hair, a bit sleazy. I wanted to put a leg on the bass player. And the drummer was a beautiful woman. As was the cello player. I mean, he's got cello. You've got to love it.
He can't escape the Jack White comparisons...
...when it comes to the vocals, but at the end of the day, he definitely stands apart. The album spans everything from the quirky pop of its insanely catchy opening track, to raw rock and roll (which again don't help the Jack White comparisons), and onward to some downright amazing folky tunes...even with some Eastern Europe influences tossed in for good measure. Definitely recommend this one.
Timeless
A must have for all music fans. I would compare him to an acoustic Jack White with a love for fables:)

i just happened to stumble across this and am so glad i did. beautiful, unaffected voice and nothing is contrived about this music. it's real, true and magical. brilliant work!
