Not really a fan of rap/hip hop...
but then again that's most likely because of mainstream garbage. People like Lecrae need to be more mainstreamed, because he way outshines the likes of Li'l Wayne and the Black Eyed Peas. This album is truly amazing ? glad I heard the song Rebel Intro on pandora.com the other day :)
Powerful, Inspiring, Fresh!!!
My pastor played "Don't waste your life" during his sermon last Sunday. Lecrae's amazing lyrics raised the roof and left me wanting to hear more of his raps. Upward, inward, outward!
Thorough
I was very pleased. It's sometimes difficult to find in "Holy Hip-Hop" the right combination of solid production (music & beats), true lyrical artistry, and Biblically based content. I found it listening to this album. Talent meets annointing and God is glorified on this project. Job well done!

This is fire man! Lecrae runs loops around modern hip hop. Li'l Wayne wishes he could flow like this.

It doesn't feel corny to say i listen to Christian rap anymore. Not only is this album good by christian rap standards, it blows secular rap away. He rhymes intelligently with a purpose. His songs are efficient. They drive the point that Jesus is the king & we need to serve him.
