"The sun has a way of making us pay for our revelry filled nights..." This is a highly underrated band. Both this album and their previous one are chock full of brilliant songs and lyrics. In the months I've had this its been in heavy rotation of the iPod. It's enough rock to not scare off those who dislike country, but enough of the Americana to really stand alone.
I really enjoyed III and I'm always in awe of the band's electrifying,raw power when they're playing live. There's so many good tracks on here. It would be an injustice to just pick one. If you're a resident of Columbus. It's an often rare treat to catch Micah and Shane playing acoustically at the Open Mic at The Treehouse in Grandview. Definitely a great holiday gift for any fan of great music.
Wow, I really liked III, but this one blows me away. The lyrics are great and the music is, too. I'm a fan of DBT and Slobberbone (RIP), and these guys are carrying on their tradition in a great way. There are so many good songs on here, I can't even come close to picking a fav.
Two Cow Garage really up their game here and bring us their best take on the cow-punk genre yet!
