Worst Lewis Black album
The best thing about eMusic is that they have a good comedy selection and all of Lewis Black's CDs. But this is Black's worst performance. It's just shouting at the end of every sentence. Get "Luther Burbank Performing Arts Center Blues". That's his best. I listen to it at least once a week (I kid not!) All the others are better than this CD.
Classic Black
Black still holds onto his comic devices in his latest collection. He's backed off on a lot of the political topics- probably because this latest administration has finally numbed his brain into immobility- but he still manages to find other points of interest to get laughs from. There's an occasional old joke, but surprises with a new twist. Definitely worth the download if you're a Black fan.
