1996 excellence
Of all the DJ mixes I heard, this one stands out. Tracks you won't find anywhere else and a special mixing style make this mix a masterpiece. And yes, you need all the tracks - it's part of the education program.

Wasn't this album released in 1996?
as if that were truly the intention of the artist, why would there be more than one track on the album? Why are there 16 tracks with 16 different names and lengths? Either way, respect the artist's wish. Buy it as is or don't at all. Enough whining.
Glad to see a record label sticking to their guns and releasing a mix as a mix only - the point of a mix is that it's not just a collection of tracks, the sum being greater than the parts etc. Although, that's only partly it. Fact is it's much cheaper to licence lots of tracks for release as a mix only, rather than also as accesible individual tracks. Smart move given how little money there is in music at present.
Once these tunes are copied into say iTunes set gap to 0 seconds, it plays as it was intended, no problem of eMusic simply set your playback correctly in your default player.
The point of a mix album is that you listen to the entire thing front to end. The tracks are all mixed together, so downloading individual tracks will result in abrubt endings and completely destroy the point of this album. If you really want, you could probably find each of these tracks separately outside of this mixed form, but again, that's not the only thing you're paying for here. Is emusic the place for mix albums? Maybe not. But either way the choice makes sense.
First time I have notice this, so, if this is the emusic future, I'll probably end up buying itunes cards.
But why would you want a mix album with gaps?
I would consider quitting emusic if this would happen more often.....
I hope this doesn't become a trend. I like emusic cuz I can try a track here and there. If I have to buy entire CDs, I'll probably quit.
