Otherworldly
Rockettothesky's second album may be categorized as "pop," but that label is completely inadequate to describe what awaits the adventurous listener. Imagine Joanna Newsom singing lead for Cocteau Twins, imagine Kate Bush covering Enya's greatest hits and you'll have some idea of what to expect here. These ten tracks aren't so much "songs" or "music" as they are sonic art. Rockettothesky's first album is much more accessible than this album (and a better starting point for new listeners), but in terms of artistic achievement, this album might be better.
