I love this band. I saw they were coming to Las Vegas and I was happy. Then they cancelled...Tears, actual tears flowed down my face until Lake Mead was refilled to its 1979 level. Good thing, yes, but I would have rather seen Wintersleep live!
Wintersleep are about texture and melody. While the electric guitar is well represented, there are also piano ballads ("Dead Letter and The Infinite Yes"). Highly recommended.
I saw them w portugal the man @ harpors fairy. they were inpresive really good, ambient, good vocally, strong musically playing math rock ifluenced brakes. worth a listen for shore
