Any project with Greg Dulli is always worth it. He sounds great at Triple Door. I missed this one, but caught him as a Gutter Twin a year ago. Get ready for a new album this year!

This is just the icing on the cake to my Greg Dulli/Afghan/Twilight/Amber/Gutter collection. Freaked when I saw this on here. Saw the Twilight Singers at a small club in the Cities, and got to meet Greg. Super nice guy, and 10x that as a musician/songwriter. Must Dload!!! 2 thumbs up.
Never sounded better
This is really great. I have been a follower of Greg's work since Congregation and am really impressed by this. OK, so it's not Black Love but it is a great retrospective of his career. His voice is amazing on this one- he has never sounded better. He pretty much hits all the notes he goes for and the band he plays with are great. Lovely to hear Petra's violin so central to the performance. The cover of the Faces track- "tell everyone", a stripped down "candy cane crawl" and "Bonnie Brae" are highlights. "Tonight" also sneaks in there- very unexpected but very cool indeed.
Greg Dulli Kills it
The Afghan Whigs should have been huge. This guy is the man and this is great example of him kickin live. If you are an Afghan Whig or a Twilight Fan or even if you know Trey Busch from Sleight of Hand, this record is a must.
