What a pleasure this is! While the full album shows the title track of this EP to be a bit of a curveball, that's EXACTLY what you want to see a band as creative as this one do with an EP -- stretch it out, look at things from a different angle. I like this a whole, whole lot. If you hear the samples and are even halfway intrigued, go for it.

Three of the best Trail of Dead tracks I've heard in years, and an interesting instrumental to cap it off. While I wouldn't want to dismiss all of their post-Source Tags work, being released from Interscope appears to have breathed fresh life into the band. Highly recommended.
