Don't take my word for it...
Glenn Gould said he wore out two copies of this LP. I could probably listen to "This is the records of John" and "The Cries of London" every day for the rest of my life. I'm no expert on Renaissance music, but this performance seems a little less "authentic" than what one hears today: the singers are a bit more full-throated. Also the recording is mono. But wonderful nevertheless.
