Best in Years!
This disc is their most playful, catchy disc to date. It's fun, it's deep, it's chill, and it's not afraid to rock out a bit. Thank you Waterdeep for stepping outside the formula! I am a fan once again!

I know its 13 tracks, but with the intro and the split EP idea of Lori and Don each taking some songs it can be summed up as a little fun album. There are some real gems on here and it is fun to listen to.
I must confess, I have only been an on again, off again fan of this band over the years, but on their newest release, husband and wife duo Don and Lori Chaffer really deliver a great, catchy, and deep album. Pink and Blue is actually two EPs - Tracks 1-7 are Lori's disc, while 8-13 are Don's. A lot of these songs are fun and potentially danceable (like "Life of the Party"), but the lyrics wrestle with some real heartache (such as "Okay, Okay, Yeah" and "You'll be Fine"). The lyrics are a bit obscure at times, but the combination of words and music convey a great range of emotions. This is a great return to form after quite a hiatus (apart from last year's acoustic disc, Waterdeep has not released new material since 2003) and a wonderful collection of songs.
