I had a fever... (no, not for more cowbell), but for funk, hip-hop, jazz-fusion music that is polished and mature. This album fills the bill and then some! The loops are appropriate and not repetitively annoying, and with the tracks that do have hip-hop vocals, the lyrics are not laced with profanity. If you enjoy Funk, old-school Hip-Hop, and jazz, I would highly recommend this album.
But damn! Think Steely Dan like musicianship with way, way more soul and deep ass funkiness. Pop this in your whip and roll.

True honest music. Congrats to Greyboy for doin' it well. I thought this was a best of...only a few old tracks along side some serious new HEAT. download all. Why more West Coast musicians cannot bring it like this I do not know.
