Grows on you

At first I was only interested in her b/c of her collaborations with Damien Rice. At first listen, wasn't quite sure if she could be on her own. But now I appreciate it more with each listen. Playing as just background music mostly, but every now and then I'll pick up something new and I like it even more. First favorite was "I don't Know", played over and over when I first fell in love with my boyfriend...My second favorite was "An Ocean and a Rock". I love "Keep it all"- sexy! "Sea Song" as well builds up intensity, has a smoldering quality.

Beautiful Stuff

Great little album of mellow, relaxing music here. Lisa has a nice, soothing voice, and the songs are great background music or even bedtime music.

So Fantastic

I LOVED this... Her voice is wonderful and it's done in a light fun style that is enjoyable to listen to continuously. When is the next coming out?!

Lisa Hannigan is great!

I love this artist and discovered her here on eMusic. She's kinda "Be Good Tanyas" and a little Neko Case mixed in. I highly recommend "Sea Sew." Good work!

Been a big fan of Lisa for some time. Picked up a copy of Sea Sew at one of her shows, and have listened to it over and over. One of the most imaginative and creative albums Ive heard in a long time.

I also saw her on Colbert, but I only downloaded a few select tracks (that I in turn enjoyed). Sea Song Keep it all Pistashio My more recent musical tastes have been formed by Folk Off! (also available on Emusic).

Add one to the bump. It's the perfect kind of light folk with intriguing vocals.

Finally, the sweet haunting voice of Lisa, front and center. This album was well worth the wait. Congrats, Lisa.
