Memoirs at The End Of The World
Why isn't this new album on Emusic ? The Postmarks don't know why it's been left off ? Any ideas ?
We’re sorry. This album is unavailable for download in your country (United States) at this time.

I usually do not like a lot of female vocalist. I like Ann and Nancy, Dolly, Emmy Lou, Bjork, Ammie Mann and now this lovely vocalist with a dreamy style. I recomend!
I'm a little bummed that i have to pay for these again if i want to re download them. The tracks were availible as singles and the singles are no longer available on eMusic and neither is the track art
#2, 3, 5, and 9 are the high points. Avoid #8: the spaghetti western arrangement doesn't work.
I really like the way the Postmarks debut was produced... this covers album uses the typical Phil Spector Wall of Sound approach, which is fairly played out among bands like the Postmarks. I'm worried that if they continue in this direction, there won't be much to set them apart stylistically from the likes of Camera Obscura, Foxtail Somersault and Isobel Campbell.
Rather mundane upon first listen but it's addictive like a good pop AM radio station playing all your favorites -- and that's a compliment. I keep coming back to The Postmarks over and over and recommend their other album on Emusic as well.
These are great covers. Interesting interpretations, coupled with a great voice and pretty good production. Numbers 1 - 8 were available here as free downloads as they came out each month, but no more...Get 'em here, you won't regret it.
