Absolutely amazing
You can look at the players and imagine how good this is going to be: it's better. For an album billed as "Charlie Haden, with..." (the album cover art here cuts that off!), the only thing missing is more bass: Charlie is clearly more the executive producer, gathering the perfect ensemble to play these songs. Baker shines, just six months before his death, and Higgins amazes throughout. Charlie steps to the front on 'round Midnight, with a truly beautiful solo. This one is a gem from start to finish.
