A melodic prog gem
I can't believe this album hasn't been reviewed by anyone. This is quite a sleeper of an album. Very well writen with tons of melody. The vocalist has a graspy edgyness to his voice and is in the ballpark of Fredddy Mercury or the singer from Shudder to Think. "Scenery" is a wonderful ballad, very Queen like - gave me chills. The chord changes lend well to the lyrical complexity. A very well thought-out song to a well thought-out album. The tenderness of The Last Gasp, complete with orchestral magnificance, will leave you wanting more.
