An Unexpected Surprise
Consider it a mashup between Beirut and Our Brother the Native's "Parting Marrows EP" with periodic hints of Calexico's desert instrumentals and a more organic Lemon Jelly. It's kind of a casserole of ideas more than songs...it kind of reminds me of walking around a park and eavesdropping on snippets of conversation by both humans and birds, and telepathically listening to what the rest are listening to on their iPods. Really fantastic!
