Moving on

mally

This is different in many ways to something like Blue Moon Station but....it is really very good. My first real listen was on an mp3 player and it was something else. The 1st track Sol is a superb opener and the rest don't dissapoint. Well worth 5 stars. Listen, float away and enjoy.

Not so great after all

Kevbo63

I have 3 other Solar Fields recordings that I love and assumed this would be as wonderful. Not so. Majorly disappointed. The 5th song is awesome, but almost everything else is lacking in creative conviction. This album lacks the unifying element that makes their other works amazing. I will wait for the next one.

Oh MY GOD!

Maybe you're browsing ambient albums and wondering what to buy. STOP! download. float. enjoy. To give you an idea of my taste, I love the Orb, Steve Roach is too synth-washy for me (no offence, we all have our flavors) Biosphere is incredible and this, this is music formed by the synapses re-uptaking soma on another planet. If music is a door, then this is a hyperspace tunnel to another dimension.

Outstanding!

I first discovered Solar Fields a few years ago when I was trying to find some music that would allow me to write without interrupting my stream of thought but also wasn't sleep inducing. The past few albums have been great companions and have always offered a bit of a techno/dance beat. Movements is an awesome evolution of the genre and offers music that transcends 'background music' and takes its rightful place as music that you will want to sit and listen to to really appreciate its range, complexity and way it makes your brain all happy.

Beamed from deep space

Comrade

This is definitely the most accomplished Solar Fields album yet. A wonderful and rich palette of sounds that pull you into the deepest parts of outer space.

Best album yet

swilkes

A highly accomplished album of rich, multi-layered beats and deep, original sounds. Every album seems to take Solar Fields in new and exciting directions and Movements is the most compelling journey yet. Ambient bliss!

Cutting Edge!

emjayvee

Solar Fields seems to be on top of the cutting edge of fresh sounds, technology and overall composition. This artist is a genius composer who uses computers and traditional instuments to express deep emotions. I fell deep into this album along with Reflective Frequencies. Can't wait to get more. If you dig this, try Hol Baumen, H.U.V.A network, Aes Dana. Then go for a hike.

"Powerfully subtle manipulator"

Suddenly catches you and takes you to places you never know you wanted to go. Once there you won't realize you've gone to deep until it's too late. Listen to this while resting, dreaming or running.
