Outside in
I'm not usually much of a fan of out jazz, but this album is filled with joy, great writing, and excellent musicianship. Four Hot Box critics in the August 09 downbeat each gave it four stars, which tipped me into looking at it--I was unfamiliar with this band. Even under the newer and pricier download plan, I recommend taking a chance on this one.
