I really like this...
...but not as much as I hoped I would. I guess it feels like this could've been a great record if there was a little more 'fire' or if it was a little looser and from the hip. But it's still a good album. I've read that his sound is compared a lot to Bob Dylan, which is pretty accurate, but to me, this recording brings to mind what Justin Townes Earle may have sounded like if he'd recorded with Sun Records back in it's heyday.
