Another opinion
I thought Zanders Bruckner 5th was the dullest performance of it that I have ever heard. Listen to Karajan's recording on DG with the Berlin Phil. to see how much is missing in Zanders plodding rendition.

More than the music
I sought out Zander on eMusic after hearing his TED Talk on TED.com, and this recording makes me happy!
the BEST Zander yet
I am a huge fan of Zander's recordings. His performances are worth the price payed, but his marvelously intelligent and insightful discussions of the piece are PRICELESS! This discussion of Bruckner 5 is the best of his forays...and I have to the best of my knowledge heard them all. If you love this symphony it is a must. If you are new to Bruckner, it is a must. Heck, it is just a must!
