"Polish sound artist Tomasz Bednarczyk returns to Room40 following up his Summer Feelings album with another volume of achingly lovely microsound experiments, combining a bitstream of subtle, high frequency glitches with Harold Budd-like phrasing and a prodigious knack for electroacoustic ambience. 'Freckled Cheeks' is full of implied minor chords and pinprick rhythms - yet just when you think you've got Bednarczyk pegged, along comes 'Tokyo' with its collage-based approach to composition, layering field recordings in tandem with backwards looping piano phrases. The rainy crackle of 'A Bus Ride With A Red Haired Girl' is another great example of how Bednarczyk fuses environmental sounds with instrumental narratives, establishing an almost tangible sense of atmosphere and location. Elsewhere 'MI.TI' brings to mind the glassy tones of Steinbruchel while 'Movie' is like Biosphere's Geir Janssen at his most cinematic."- - -Boomkat.com
