I know they are trying to get a retro sound, but does that retro quality have to include making this have the quietest volume of any release in the last 15 years? Hey, Times New Viking, can you give up some of your superflous volume to these guys?!
While I lament the name change (from the muslims to the soft pack, whatever that means) I have to say this was one of my favorite albums last year. For a good flavor try bright side, beside myself, or right and wrong - those are all good entry points. Note, however, that if you bought the self titled ep on vinyl (with the bullet holes) and have the accompanying CD, you already have this.
