This is as hard as it gets. The covers of Pink Panther, Smoke on the Water, and Birdland are wild, and Zickenterror is just mad. What imagination and what execution.

Soft Machine Third meets Coloseum II
Swings through the door bopping a lively Mancini that sounds pretty standard until an unruly distorted guitar joins the sax and lays the groundwork for all that follows: hard bopping, heavy progging, hard fusion, soft fusion and even a couple of turns down thrash and grind alley. This dances at the edge but never goes over the top making it a safe introduction for those wanting to get their feet wet but aren’t sure they can tread the unpredictable, sometimes dangerous waters created by the artists truly stretching the boundaries of the jazz/rock union. Me, I’ll be paddling into the white water that lies ahead.
