In the vein of DT, Vanden Plas, and Secret Sphere
This group play a Progressive Rock similar in style to VISION DIVINE (with less Power elements, more prog),sometimes sound like DREAM THEATER (think Six Degrees era), and early VANDEN PLAS (only not nearly as hooky). They mimic the instrumental mastery and time-change sorcery the more one listens to them the more they stay with you. This is mostly a lighter, more melodic affair, with a heavy presence of keyboards, only getting heavier on occasion (most notably on Hopeless and The Dancer. Here is a good descripton for you: clear vocals in an upper-mid register, heavy keyboard presence, AOR-esque guitars, bass thats actually audible, and drums that are partially flashy/partially subdued. If you can imagine whats just been described, youll be good to go in knowing what to expect with The Never Ending Illusion.
