Superb!
Refreshing and full of surprises. Some sounds are familiar but yet so new. Pleasure and joy is all i want to say. The jacket is something to see. Dreamy and beautiful.

Magical, dreamy, beautiful, with an undercurrent of sadness and longing. R.I.P. Mark Horwood, whose brilliance in composing and orchestration brought so much to this project.
Hanne Hukkelberg and Cocteau Twins. Then try Islaja.
Great Cirque-ish vibe. I think that this band must be somehow related to Clare Fader. Emusic should list that.
Poppier (and more cheerful!) than my normal fare, but the voice got under my skin - thoroughly enjoyable. FWIW, I think the Bjork comparisons miss the mark - she sounds more like Cerys Matthews to me...
Thanks so much eMusic for making this special and brilliant album availbale here. There is no bad songs on this album, itīs top-notch quality from start to finish for all those who want to fall to the warm and mysterious daydream land that so few artists truly capture.
I'm so glad I found the Mummers! This album is surprising. At times the singer's voice reminds me of Bjork, which pairs well with the inventive and slightly circus-esque music.
I've been around a while, heard a lot. The number of new pop albums I voluntarily listen to more than once is close to zero (Cathrin Pfeifer, some Amy Winehouse tracks). This works in all sorts of ways. Tracks 1, 5, 6, and 10 are maybe the best. OK, track 2 too. Bit of filler here and there, and a little too much of the "My Guy" riff (g-a-b-a over Cmaj: maybe it's thematic), but the marvelous moments keep coming back in my memory, like :21 on the first track--you know you're not listening to any ordinary singer as soon as you hear that. ... Hey emusic: if you're going to charge more for the service, how about getting up to speed with unicode? Latin-1 is so 1990.
I can't stop playing this. A total surprise as I hadn't heard anything previously. Wonderful imaginative arrangements and great songs.
Yes, on this album in bucketloads but definitely not on the TV show. it makes a really refreshing change to find artists who are different and truly skilful without being contrived. Buy it now, whoever you are!
