The comparisons to J Dilla are a bit misleading. Lone's tracks aren't nearly as precise or abstract, and they seem to feel perpetually on the edge of falling apart. I actually like that sound, but let's face it, not every hip hop producer has to be compared to the late great just because he uses samples and off-beat drums.

Glad I searched for this by album title. Anyway - very good music for those who may enjoy the likes of Flying Lotus, Luke Vibert, Boards of Canada and other hip-hop influensed electronica. Lovely sounds.
