Proverbial wisdom warns that one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. But in the case of the Fresh & Onlys, the opposite is actually true: one look at the trippy, ramshackle collage on their first full-length, and you have a pretty good idea what you can expect from this up-and-coming San Francisco six-piece. Equal parts tambourine-slinging hippie folk and lo-fi garage rock, the Fresh & Onlys pack fourteen terrifically jangley, fuzzed-out tracks into their exuberant debut.
